Autumn has been approaching with the fragrance of osmanthus; the Mid-Autumn Festival night comes with the full moon hanging in the sky. On the afternoon of September 9, the Party Branch of Shenzhen MCC20 Baolong Project organized the DIY activity of making snow skin mooncake themed “Warmth Mid-Autumn Festival and Shared Feeling of Happiness” to unlock a new way of enjoying Mid-Autumn Festival.
Hang lanterns and guess riddles to greet the approaching of Mid-Autumn Festival
"The Mid-Autumn Festival stands in the middle of autumn, and the lantern papercuts flicker on the festive lanterns". In ancient times, lanterns hanging on the streets and alleys lit up the home-bound road, signifying family reunion, the purest and sincerest wishes of the Chinese people. The Party Branch and Youth League branch of the project bought a batch of lanterns and colored ribbons in advance, made riddles, and exquisitely decorated the canteen, which created thick festival atmosphere.
Ingeniously making mooncakes; happily enjoying reunion on Mid-Autumn Festival
The Mid-Autumn Festival symbolizes the family reunion with the full moon, and has become rich, colorful and precious cultural heritage to express our yearning for hometown, miss our family members and pray for harvest and happiness. The mooncakes, which symbolize reunion, are unique to the Mid-Autumn Festival.
As an ancient saying goes, "The chewy mooncake is stuffed with fillings mixed with butter oil and malt sugar." Yummy mooncakes are invariable but the self-made mooncakes taste unique! To fit the occasion, the Party Branch of Baolong Project organized a DIY activity of making ice skin mooncake with colors and fillings for the staffs to bring out the taste of reunion by hand, which immersed themselves in the fun of making a handful of mooncakes and taste their unique sweet taste. "The steaming pot in the kitchen for making mooncake is steaming. The mooncake maker is kneading the dough and dotting the mooncakes with red dots". The making process is full of fun. The steps for making mooncake are orderly, such as rubbing hands, kneading dough, matching fillings, compression molding and exquisite packaging. Everyone on the spot was busy making mooncakes while chatting about family affairs. Not long after, delicate and lovely ice skin mooncakes were spread out all over the table.
We wish each other a long life so as to share the beauty of this graceful moonlight, even though miles apart. The Mid-Autumn Festival ended in an atmosphere of laughter and joy. The Party Branch of Baolong project will stay true to its original intention, carry forward the warm and happy traditional culture, work hand in hand with the project staff, and build a better Baolong family through joint efforts. While going all out to create high-quality project, the staff can get constant improvement in sense of happiness!
