Successful conclusion of 2022 Engineering Quality Management Practice Training Class of China MCC20

On September 6, the Group Companys 2022 "Quality Month" engineering quality management practice training class was successfully concluded in the resettlement housing project of the Technical Transformation Branch in Waigang Town, Jiading District, Shanghai. This training serves as an effective means for the Group Company to further promote the standardization reform of civil construction project quality inspection and expand its business. It is an important measure aimed at upgrading the quality risk identification capability of on-site quality management personnel, as well as the actual measurement and operation level of main structure inspection, further consolidating the theoretical foundation, reinforcing the overall competence of personnel, improving the quality control capability of civil construction projects, and strengthening construction of quality talents team.

This training was staffed with outstanding teaching staff, and adopted the combination of classroom teaching and hand-on teaching as well as online examination, aiming to cultivate students into versatile talents, improve their individual professional quality, and support the high-quality specialized development of the company.

The training was carried out in diverse forms e.g. site training, LiveUC, Tencent Meeting, and VR headset remote video technology, etc., attracting a total of more than 1,500 participants from 23 subsidiaries, branches and project management departments.

The training adopted diverse forms e.g. on-site teaching, communication and interaction, case expansion, and hand-on practice in combination with the actual situation of the site construction working face of the resettlement housing project of the Technical Transformation Branch in Waigang Town, Jiading District. Work at selected spots is linked with that in entire areas. The training offered systematic explanation and comment on the quality risk identification, actual measurement and hand-on operation, main structure inspection and hand-on operation, node construction quality and other aspects; initially constructed the trainees" knowledge system of concrete structure, masonry work, decoration engineering, M&E engineering construction process and quality control points, and consolidated the level of personal professional skills.

The training was mainly conducted in the form of on-site lecturing and explanation, minimizing teaching duration and delivering good results. Through this site hand-on training, the trainees gained new understanding of hand-on operation of quality risk identification, actual measurement and main structure detection. In the future, the company will continue to strengthen the training of quality talents in the discipline of civil construction, promote the overall quality control level of engineering projects, and sharpen the company"s market competitiveness.

Liu Jiuzan, Project Management Department of East China Branch: First of all, the theoretical knowledge training courseware was impressive in quality, which rendered itself material worthy of collection and repeated study. Coupled with the authoritative explanation of teacher from Pingda Jiangxue, the teaching materials offered trainees’ easy understanding, and could be said to be beneficial for life. The on-site training on the second day coupled with the on-site case study on physical project delivered clear, intuitive and impressive results, which mainly complemented the weaknesses and deficiencies of the front-line management personnel in the detail parts of physical quality control.

Shi Guodong, Project Management Department of Overseas Engineering Company: Through this practical training, I gained in-depth understanding of the site applications. The identification of quality risk points made me realize the importance of details and processes. With respect to actual measurement, the teachers of Pingda and Xinding also tirelessly explained the use of instruments and the method of measurement, including the inaccuracies susceptible to the process, which gave me deeper understanding and better improvement. Through this site practical training, I found my own drawbacks, and would apply the effects of this practical training to the broader surface of company through the point of me myself, so that this practical training can be put into effect.

Zheng Libiao, Engineering Project Department of Ruike Real Estate Development Commercial Office, an industrial engineering company: I participated in the two-day quality training and found the training much rewarding. The content of quality risk explanation was comprehensive, and all disciplines involved in the housing construction project were involved, which was greatly helpful to the improvement of project management. The on-site teaching of actual measurement delivers more intuitive learning results to the methods of on-site actual measurement, the use of measuring instruments and equipment.

Hui Linlin, infrastructure project in Tianfu Jingcheng Area, Deyang City: By learning from the theory of "actual measurement and quality risk problem prevention" by Pingda Jiangxue and combining with the site actual measurement, the theoretical training knowledge was consolidated, and the introduction of actual measurement instruments, actual measurement indicators, quality risk prevention, analysis of real common problems, analysis of common quality problems in actual measurement were given hand-on practice. This training rewarded me with further understanding of actual measurement theory and in-depth awareness of importance of this learning practice activity.
