The 11^th China International Piling and Deep Foundations Summit

            From October 25 to 27, China MCC20 Engineering Design and Research Institute, together with International Piling and Deep Foundations Association and other units, co-organized the 11^th China International Piling and Deep Foundations Summit. This conference organized more than 600 piling foundations technical experts and industry elites from 10-odd countries to communicate with each other, study and explore, find countermeasures and deepen cooperation around the theme of "innovative technology and intelligent construction of piling foundation and deep foundation".

           Qin Xiaqiang, deputy general manager and chief engineer of China MCC20, delivered an opening speech for the summit. He pointed out that China MCC20, as a modern conglomerate with special qualification for general contracting of large-scale comprehensive engineering construction, is strategically positioned at "national team of metallurgical construction, the main force of basic construction and the pacesetter of emerging industries, insisting on taking the road of high-tech construction in the long term". It has successfully realized transformation and upgrading and accumulated rich implementation experience in the field of piling and deep foundation. China International Piling and Deep Foundations Summit is the largest comprehensive summit in the field of piling and deep foundations in Asia which provides a high-level international academic exchange platform for promoting the continuous improvement of the quality of piling foundations projects in the world and realizing the sustainable and harmonious development of piling foundations industry. In the process of efficiently serving the national urbanization, China MCC20 knows deep down that the great potential and impetus can be brought by technology exchange and cooperation to the industry, and is providing exchange opportunities and platforms for the progress of the industry with its practical actions, and constantly contributing to the development of China's piling foundations engineering field. Summit content

            On October 25, the owner of large-scale infrastructure construction piling foundations projects, various construction contractors and equipment and technology suppliers, local research institutes and design institutes attended the meeting and held technical seminars on topics such as foundations anti-floating design; development, research and application of patented technology of a series of cement soil piles; ultra deep diaphragm wall and ultra deep vibro impact gravel pile. On October 26, the main forum was officially opened, and the participating experts delivered wonderful speeches, with topics covering large-scale on-site piling foundations horizontal test, character research and engineering practice on bearing deformation behavior of socketed pile; planning and implementation of infrastructure digital platform. The cases aroused discussion and enthusiastic response from all parties. On October 27, experts continued to share their speeches and discussed and exchanged new technologies of piling foundations and deep foundations pit engineering respectively. The conference will also include a number of high-quality academic papers in Chinese and English, covering the most cutting-edge information on the current piling foundations construction, embodying the development and progress of the latest scientific theory and application practice in the piling foundations engineering industry.
